Wolves v Fulham Live Stream Championship

This weekend, top of the table Wolves host a Fulham side who have not lived up to early season expectation. After a good season last year, the Cottagers were expected to push for the play-off spots, while Wolves were expected to consolidate. However, a fantastic start to the season, seeing Wolves win 10 of their 15 games, has seen the Midlands club surge to the top of the Championship.

WOLVES LATEST NEWS
Wolves come into this one in fine form, having won 4 of their last 6. They are showing a good start to the season has legs to it, with players like Willy Boly, Diego Jota, Ruben Neves and Leo Bonatini were smart signings. With 16 goals between the pair so far this season, Jota and Bonatini have been wonderful to watch.

Likely to play in their usual 3-4-3, we expect Mirana and Boly to partner Connor Coady in the back three, with N’Diaye, Neves, Doherty ad Douglas playing on the wide areas. The Scot has been a revelation since arriving at Molineux, and has been a major part of their surge to the top of the table.

With a great record so far and a consistent penchant for goals, we expect Wolves to come out with plenty of attacking intent and desire. Few teams in the league can match their ferocity up top, and we expect them to have a chance.

FULHAM LATEST NEWS
Fulham, meanwhile, will likely stick to their tried and tested 4-2-3-1. While the likes of Oliver Norwood and Tom Cairney are not in the form they were in 2016/17, we expect them both to play. Injuries to the impressive Sheyi Ojo and Lucas Piazon will mean the London side are lacking up top, though.

Top scorer Stefan Johansen will likely miss out, too, who has been excellent since his arrival from Celtic. The team has struggled to find a consistent grip on the match in recent weeks, and we expect this to be the same here. Fulham look lost at times; incapable of dealing with the pressure. Having not won a game at Molineux in their last 10 attempts, either, we don’t expect Fulham fans to arrive at this clash with much expectation.

A flaky defence made up of Kalas and Ream, with young Ryan Sessegnon not looking his same self, as well, means we’ve got little hope for Fulham here.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
Wolves have been the dominant party in recent games between the two sides, having taken 4 wins from their last 6 games. Fulham haven’ won a match against Wolves in a while, with their sole victory coming back in 2015 in the FA Cup in a win at Molineux.

Fulham, though, have had some top draws with their opponents, drawing 4-4 against each other in December 2016.

MATCH EXPECTATIONS
We expect this to be a solid, if unspectacular, match. Fulham don’t look great and are poor in front of goal, while Wolves are flying if somewhat lacking in fluency at times. We expect a home win here; Fulham simply don’t appear to have the quality in their side at present to do anything special. The Championship is a very balanced league, but our expectation would be a win for the top of the table side.
