Darts Players Championship Finals is a darts tournament organized by the professional darts corporation. The first edition of the tournament took place in 2009, at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet. In 2011 it was moved to Doncaster, while from 2012 the tournament takes place in the Butlins Resort, Minehead. The 2017 edition of the tournament will be played in November, for the biggest prize pool yet - 460 thousand British pounds! The champion will take home 100 thousand pounds, while the runner-up will earn 40 thousand pounds.

Until 2016, the top 32 players were competing in the tournament, while in 2016 the field increased to 64 players.The most successful player in the history of the tournament is the reigning champion from the Netherlands, Michael van Gerwen, who won three titles in the last four years, along with Phil Taylor, who also won the title three times, in 2009, 2011 February edition and 2012. Gary Anderson won the title in 2014, Kevin Painter in December 2011, while Paul Nicholson was the best in 2010.

Home nation England is the most successful, as expected, with three titles from Taylor and one title from Painter. Also, English players had five more appearances in the finals.The Netherlands has three titles from van Gerwen, Anderson won the only title for Scotland (Anderson and Thornton lost in the finals as well), while Paul Nicholson won the only title for Australia.Mark Webster from Wales and Kim Huybrechts from Belgium had one appearance in the finals as well.
