It was a night to forget for Valencia. They lost at home 92-100 from Alba Berlin. After a balanced first half, the German side run a 3-23 in the third quarter that pretty much sealed the fate of the game. Despite the effort of Mike Tobey and Fernando San Emeterio (each scored 12 points), Guillem Vives with 11 and Nikola Kalinic who added 10 points, Valencia couldn't prevent the defeat from Alba.

And now Valencia will host Efes. Another difficult task for the Spanish side. If they want to get back in winning mode they must rely on their offense. Given that Efes will guard the paint with Bryan Dunston and Tibor Pleiss, the home team must be much accurate in shooting, especially from outside the ark.

Efes is underachieving so far. A team built with title ambitions is currently in sixth place. They do need to return to wins immediately. Valencia likes to dictate the pace at home and Efes has to stop that.
