Tottenham v Juventus Betting Odds: UEFA Champions League Match Review and Latest News

Every football fan across Europe will be excited to see Champions League football back this week and while some ties are beyond doubt, one that is still wide open sees Juventus travel to Wembley to face Tottenham.

The first-leg ended 2-2 and saw a huge comeback from Spurs as they were two goals down in the first 10 ten minutes before Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen clawed them back into the game.

TOTTENHAM v JUVENTUS MATCH ODDS *

With two away goals and home advantage for the second-leg, Tottenham are favorites to qualify but at 2/5 with bet365 (18+,T&C Apply), I don’t think it’s worth it. Juve is 5/2 which isn’t particularly great either. Spurs to win on the night will get you decent odds as they are more than evens at 6/5, a great price based on their form at Wembley this season.

Juventus are also a decent price at 2/1 as they are one of the elite European sides. For two sides who are very strong defensively, it isn’t expected to be a goal fest, especially with Spurs looking to protect those away goals. A price of 4/5 for under 2.5 goals might not be bad at all.

TOTTENHAM LATEST NEWS

Spurs have been much better in the Premier League of late and will take some positivity from that form. They are without Toby Alderweireld who they would ideally like but even without him, they should be able to win on Wednesday night.

JUVENTUS LATEST NEWS

Gonzalo Higuain, the scorer of both Juve goals in the first-leg, might not feature in London because of an ankle injury while Federico Bernardeschi and Juan Cuadrado are confirmed as injured for the clash.

MATCH PREDICTION

In terms of progression to the quarter-final, Tottenham are the favorites in this one as they will have their great home support behind them as well as two huge away goals to fall back on.

Juventus must get the first goal if they want to qualify as the first goal for Spurs could take the tie beyond them. It will be a great contest at Wembley and I think Tottenham will progress with a narrow second-leg victory.
