Real Madrid had an easy night in Berlin last week. The Spanish side beat Alba 63-72. From the very beginning, Real took control of the game and established a double-digit lead. In order to take their next win, this season Real will have to run in transition. This type of play helps them a lot. And in addition, Usman Garuba and Tavares should lead Real's defense with the help of Gabriel Deck in both offense and offense. The hosts when they manage to dictate their pace this season they win. Especially at home.

Baskonia hosted Zalgiris Kaunas and succeeded on return to winning mode. They beat at home the Lithuanian side 81-68 and stopped their three-game losing streak.  The Basques took advantage of the tiredness of Zalgiris and being able to run in transition helped them to take a very important win. Pierria Henry led the winners with his 19 points, while Alec Peters added another 15, Luca Vildoza offered 14, and Tonye Jekiri another 10 for Baskonia. A difficult night is predicted for Baskonia tonight. Especially if Tavares will keep on performing as he does last weeks. So first things first, the center of Real must be stopped. And unfortunately, this alone will not be enough. The Basques will have to stop Real from running and not give them second chances. Not so many anyway. And for them? To try and shoot behind the arc better than before.
