Olympiacos didn't make it at Milano last Tuesday. The Reds lost from Olimpia Milano 90-79 in a game that almost everything went wrong for the visitors. Even though Kostas Sloukas was amazing for yet another night with 17 points and 7 assists, and Sasha Vezenkov tried his best with 18 points and 10 rebounds, no one else could help them. Especially in the second period, Olympiacos was terrible in both defense and offense. And so Olympiacos tested its 11th loss this season.

Olympiacos needs the win desperately if they want to keep on the playoffs race. So they must win the league's leaders tonight. And in order to do that they must be very efficient at offense. In that manner, they beat the Catalans in the first round. So besides Kostas Sloukas - the usual suspect for Olympiacos lately - a number of other players need to step up to help their team get a much-needed win. Especially the players in the paint.

Barcelona hosted Zenit last Tuesday and they win 85-81. They could have been more comfortable as they managed to have a double-digit margin but in the end, they slowed their pace and Zenit tried to make a comeback. But at this point, Brandon Davies in both defense and offense helped Blaugrana to grab a well-deserved win.  The American center had 18 points. Kyle Kuric scored 16, Cory Higgins and Nikola Mirotic each added 14, while Nick Calathes dished 12 assists for Barcelona.

A rather easy night is expected for Barca in Pireus. Given of course that they will not underestimate Olympiacos. They did it once at Palau Blaugrana on the first round and they paid the price. They are the favorite on paper, but they do have to show their skills. Nick Kalathes will face Kostas Sloukas in their battle to dictate the pace, but most important for the visitors, Nicola Mirotic and Brandon Davies must control the glass and offer the usual amount of points.
