Maccabi had an easy night against Baskonia last week. They win at home 91-82. The Israeli side had control from the very begging, dictating their pace to the visitors. Othello Hunter and Elijah Bryant scored 14 points apiece and made sure that their side will be the victorious one at Menora Mivtachim Arena. They improved their record to 9-11 and now they can be more optimistic about their future in the competition.

But if they want to have a future and qualify for the play-offs they must take another home win against Real Madrid. Scottie Wilbekin and Elliah Bryant, alongside Tyler Dorsey, must put some pressure on the visitor's backcourt. And Othello Hunter to put a hold on Tavares influence in Real's game.

Real didn't play well at home last Monday against Crvena Zvezda. So they lost 77-79 even though they tried a lot at the end of the game. But they looked tired and couldn't follow the visitor's pace. Rudy Fernandez stepped up for Real with 11 points but didn't have any support from his teammates. Nicolas Laprovittola, Gabriel Deck, Trey Thompkins, and Jeffery Taylor each added 10 points for the hosts, but no one could change the fate of the game.

Another difficult task for Real. it's not only that they will have to face a tough opponent on the road, but they will not have Sergio Llull and probably Rudy Fernandez at their service. And Nicolas Laprovittola will have to spet up and deal with Maccabi's great backcourt.  And of course Tavares and Gabriel Deck to try and control the glass.
