Surprisingly enough Baskonia couldn't make it in Berlin last Tuesday. The Basques lost from undermanned Alba 95-91 in a thrilling game. Youssoupha Fall will have a lot to do also as he must somehow limit December MVP Nikita Milutinov. If the hosts make all perfect in defense they might have a chance tonight. 

In a close game that saw several ties and no double-digit leads, CSKA Moscow managed to take a thrilling win 87-91 in overtime against Olimpia Milano in Mediolanum Forum. Nikola Milutinov led the winners with a monster double-double of 17 points and 19 rebounds while Mike James and Johannes Voigtmann followed him with remarkable double-doubles, as the former recorded 20 points and 11 assists, and the latter tallied 13 points and 12 rebounds. The home side tried their best, but couldn't deal with CSKA's super-stars.

CSKA will travel to Spain without Daniel Hackett and Will Clyburn. Two of the team's most valuable players. Mike James will have to keep on scoring and dishing assists, but someone will have to step forward in defense. Dimitris Itoudis is expecting Joel Bolomboy to play that role. And of course from Nicola Milutinov to keep on bothering his opponents on both sides.
